Congratulations on taking the next step in becoming a Versa certified professional! All proctored Versa certification exams can be scheduled either at an onsite proctored center or online with a virtual proctor.

Registering for an Exam

Registering for a Versa certification exam, and checking exam availability, is easy to do. Just follow the steps below:

Log in to Webassessor at https://www.webassessor.com/versa. If you do not already have a test taker profile in Webassessor, you will need to create one.

  • Click Register for an Exam.
  • Locate the exam you wish to schedule and expand the section to view the delivery options. You can choose to register for the exam as onsite proctored or online proctored. Click the Register button for the delivery method you prefer.
    1. If you are interested in online proctored exams, review all system requirements in our help article: Online Proctoring – Completing Your Exam Remotely
  • If you selected the onsite proctored exam:
    1. Select a testing center.
    2. Select the date and time you would like to take the exam; read the Reschedule and Cancellation Policy, select the acknowledgment checkbox.
  • If you selected the online proctored exam:
    1. Select the date and time you would like to take the exam; read the Reschedule and Cancellation Policy, select the acknowledgment checkbox.
    2. All online proctored exams are automatically adjusted to the time zone of the location you inputted in your Webassessor profile details.
  • Click Select.
  • Review the exam and scheduling details for accuracy, click Checkout.
  • Enter your payment type. You can enter a voucher/coupon code and/or credit card.
    1. Certification exams are taxable per local laws; you will see any applicable tax listed during the checkout process.
  • Click Submit.
  • You will see a purchase confirmation screen. Click Done.
  • An email confirming your purchase and registration will be sent to you.

Onsite Proctored Exam

Versa Networks partners with Kryterion, a global network of testing centers to deliver our certification exams. To locate the center nearest you,

visit http://www.kryteriononline.com/Locate-Test-Center. Each testing center sets its own exam schedules, so availability can vary. Typically, exam registration is required at least 24-72 hours in advance; however, we recommend that you register at least one week in advance to ensure your preferred date and time is available.

Checking in for Your Exam

Arrive to the testing center thirty (30) minutes prior to your scheduled start time. When you arrive, identify yourself to the staff as a Kryterion test taker. You will need to bring the following items in order to successfully check in for your exam:

  1. One form of a government-issued photo identification, such as:
    • Government-issued driver’s license or identification card (local, state, province or country)
    • Passport
    • Military identification
    • National identification card
  2. One additional form of identification, such as:
    • Any of the above options not already used
    • Student identification from an accredited school
    • Credit card
    • Check-cashing card
    • Bank debit card
    • Employee identification card

The authorization code that was provided to you in your registration confirmation email

Your name on your two forms of identification must match exactly with your name as specified in your test taker profile in Webassessor. Additionally, all identification must be current; expired identification will not be accepted.

In order to provide a secure testing environment, you are required to comply with these policies:

  • You must comply with all instructions provided to you by the exam proctor.
  • You cannot access any personal belongings, materials, or electronic devices during your exam.
  • Personal belongings such as mobile phones, purses, briefcases or backpacks will be collected by the proctor, stored in a secured area, and returned after the test session.
  • During your exam, you cannot talk to any individual in the testing area except for the proctor.
  • You are not permitted any breaks during the exam.
  • You are provided scratch paper; you must return the scratch paper to your proctor at the end of your exam.

Failure to comply with the program agreement, proctor instructions, or the test taking policies may result in disciplinary action.

Online Proctored

Online proctoring allows you to take Versa certification exams remotely from your own computer. These exams are monitored by a proctor through a webcam. Online proctored exams are offered daily, excluding major U.S. holidays and during system maintenance. Advance registration is not required for online proctoring; depending upon availability, you can register and launch an exam on the same day. However, if you are completing an exam through online proctoring for the first time, allow extra time to prepare your computer.

Before scheduling an online proctored exam, it is strongly recommended that you review all of the necessary requirements and the test-taking policies. You can visit https://www.kryteriononline.com/systemcheck/ to do a quick system check.

Keep in mind: there are certain hardware/software requirements to successfully complete your exam online.

OLP Services Test Taker Support

Non-Disclosure Agreement

You will be required to agree to the NDA Agreement (PDF) , which is presented at the beginning of your exam. Failure to read/accept the agreement within the allotted five minutes will result in your exam ending and a forfeit of your exam fees. Please take a moment to review the agreement now so that you are familiar with it when you sit for your exam.

Test takers must wait 15 days between unsuccessful attempts.

Exam Reschedule and Cancellation Policy

Testing Center (Onsite) Exam Reschedule & Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule or cancel your testing center registration without incurring an additional fee with a minimum of 72 hours advance notice of the scheduled start time of your exam.

Please note: 72 hours is not three business days; it is 72 hours prior to the scheduled exam start time.

Reschedules and cancellations more than 72 hours before your exam start time can be completed through your test taker account in Webassessor free of charge. If you reschedule or cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled exam start time, you will be charged a USD75 fee. This can be completed through your test taker account, but a fee will be assessed (instructions below).

If you do not complete the exam at the scheduled time and did not contact the Versa Certification team in advance of your exam start date and time, you will be considered a no-show and charged the full exam fee.

Online Exam Reschedule & Cancellation Policy 

You may reschedule or cancel your online proctored registration without incurring an additional fee with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice of the scheduled exam start time.

Please note that 24 hours is not 1 business day; it is 24 hours prior to the scheduled exam start time.

Reschedules and cancellations more than 24 hours can be completed through your test taker account in Webassessor free of charge. If you reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled exam start time, you will be charged a USD75 fee. This can be completed through your test taker account, but a fee will be assessed (instructions below).

How to Reschedule Your Exam

  1. Log in to your test taker account in Webassessor.
  2. Locate the Scheduled Exams section and click on the Reschedule/Cancel button next to your scheduled exam. From this exam details page, the Reschedule and Cancel buttons will be available.
    • If you need to reschedule an exam that is scheduled at an onsite testing center, and you are within 72 hours of your exam start time, you are required to pay the late reschedule fee of USD75.
    • If you need to reschedule an online proctored exam, and you are within 24 hours of your exam start time, you are required to pay the late reschedule fee of USD75.
  3. To reschedule your exam, select the Reschedule button and follow the prompts.
    • If you are within the reschedule window, you will be prompted to pay the reschedule fee. Submit your payment details in order to complete the reschedule process. An email will be sent confirming the payment and reschedule of your exam.
    • Click Done on the purchase confirmation page to return to your test taker account home screen.

How to Cancel Your Exam

  1. Log in to your test taker account in Webassessor.
  2. Locate the Scheduled Exams section and click on the Reschedule/Cancel button next to your scheduled exam. From this exam details page, the Reschedule and Cancel buttons will be available.
    • If you need to cancel an exam that is scheduled at a testing center, and you are within 72 hours of your exam start time, you are required to pay the USD75 late cancellation fee.
    • If you need to cancel an online proctored exam, and you are within 24 hours of your exam start time, you are required to pay the late cancellation fee of USD75.

If you cancel an upcoming exam at a testing center outside of the 72-hour window, you will receive a refund for any fees you paid for the exam. If you cancel an upcoming exam within the 72-hour window, you will receive a partial refund (the exam fee less the late cancellation fee).

If you cancel an upcoming online exam outside of the 24-hour window, you will receive a refund for any fees you paid for the exam. If you cancel an upcoming exam within the 24-hour window, you will receive a partial refund (the exam fee less the late cancellation fee).

To cancel your exam, select the Cancel button.

  • If you are within the cancellation window, you will see your total eligible refund amount on the following screen.
  • If you submit the cancellation request, your exam will be cancelled and you will be issued a refund to the original credit card used to complete the transaction. This may take 8-10 days to fully process. You will then be redirected to your test taker account home screen.
    • An email will be sent confirming the amount refunded and cancellation of your exam.
  • If you choose to leave your exam as scheduled, select Cancel.

Exceptions to the Reschedule & Cancellation Policy

Exceptions to the exam Cancellation and Rescheduling policy are listed below. You will need to send an email to Versa  Certification team for assistance if you meet one of these conditions. Supporting documentation is required for these exceptions (i.e., doctor’s note, funeral note, etc.).

  • Inclement weather prevents travel to the testing location
  • Death in the immediate family
  • Hospitalization or illness (with a doctor’s note)

Certification Exam Payment Receipt

You can generate official receipts for your exam purchases from the homepage of your Webassessor account. Please click on the Generate Receipts button and select the exam you’d like to create a receipt for. Fill in the information you’d like to include on the Receipt Details page (eg. VAT number, company address).
