Versa Certified SD-WAN Associate (VNX100)

Certification Exam Name: Versa Certified SD-WAN Associate (VNX100)
This specialized level exam is intended for engineers who design, optimize performance of, administer, manage, troubleshoot, and support secure SD-WAN services on Versa Networks platforms.

Scope of Certification

Intermediate level knowledge of WAN and SD-WAN technologies

SD-WAN overlay and underlay concepts and tunneling technologies (GRE, IPsec, Layer 3 VPN)

Understanding components used in the Versa Secure SD-WAN Platform

The roles, functions, and behaviors of the different headend components (Versa Director, Versa Controller, and Versa Analytics)
Understanding of the Versa Operating System and its role in the Versa Controller and Versa CPE devices

Control and Data Plane Functions

Knowledge of the role and function of virtual routers
Virtual routing and forwarding instances
Network overlays and underlays
Basic Border Gateway Protocol functions

Knowledge of Versa CPE Provisioning Methods

URL and Script based ZTP and onboarding

SD-WAN Service Knowledge

Quality of Service (QoS/CoS)
Traffic steering concepts and SLA (path monitoring)
Application Identification concepts
Secure Access
Security Service basics

Monitoring and Reporting

Knowledge of the monitoring and reporting capabilities provide by Versa Director and Versa Analytics

SD-WAN Performance Analysis and Troubleshooting

Use of Versa Director and Versa Analytics to identify and troubleshoot SD-WAN performance issues

After you have passed your certification exam, you can download your certificate from the Acclaim web site (certificates are NOT automatically sent to you).

Certificate Validity

Versa Certifications are valid for two years. To maintain your Versa Certified status, we require you to periodically demonstrate your continued expertise though recertification. Certification status can be maintained by taking the same or higher level exam
