The Versa Networks secure SD-WAN Practitioner (VSDP) is a self-paced, online-delivered course that provides foundational information on SD-WAN evolution and how Versa Secure SD-WAN provides robust, flexible, and scalable SD-WAN capabilities. The course teaches SD-WAN fundamentals such as overlay and underlay concepts, and then builds upon those fundamentals by describing how the Versa Networks components Versa Director, Versa Analytics, Versa Controller (based on Versa Operating System VOS), and VOS CPE devices are used to configure, monitor, manage, and deploy a complete SD-WAN environment.
The course content is presented in step-by-step video format that resembles and instructor-led course, with voice-over narration of the concepts in the course.

Lab exercises
The labs in this course provide hands-on instruction in the use of Versa Director for configuration and monitoring of an SD-WAN environment, including using the Versa Director, creating device templates using versa workflows, deploying CPE devices, configuring and monitoring standard routing functions and polices, and the creation of service templates.
The lab guides and lab demonstration are available in the course, but lab access is not included and may be purchased separately HERE.

Understanding of TCP/IP networking
Basic understanding of tunnelling (IPsec/MPLS) tunnelling concepts
Additionally, it is recommended that participants complete the Versa Essentials online training course, although this is not required.
