Course Overview

The Versa Networks SD-WAN Administration (VSDA) course is a self-paced, online-delivered course that provides foundational information on SD-WAN evolution and how the Versa Secure SD-WAN provides robust, flexible, and scalable SD-WAN capabilities. The course teaches the difference between full mesh and hub-and-spoke topologies and how to deploy 3 different hub-and-spoke topologies. The course reviews High Availability concepts and how HA is implemented in a Versa Networks SD-WAN. More advanced topics such as Class of Service, Traffic Steering and SLA Monitoring, and fundamentals of security services are taught. The course content is presented in step-by-step video format that resembles and instructor-led course, with voice-over narration of the concepts in the course.

Lab Exercises

The labs in this course provide hands-on instruction in the use of Versa Director for configuration and monitoring of an SD-WAN environment, including using the Versa Director, creating device templates using versa workflows, deploying CPE devices, configuring and monitoring standard routing functions and polices, and the creation of service templates. Lab guides and lab demonstrations are available in the course, but lab access to be subscribed separately. Applicable Lab V-VLAB1

Course Prerequisites

  • This course is recommended to be taken after completing self [aced course Versa Secure SD-WAN Practitioner
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • Basic understanding of tunnelling (IPsec/MPLS) tunnelling concepts
Additionally, it is recommended that participants complete the Versa Essentials online training course, although this is not required.Please login.
